Indizak started off when When India (Nici's daughter) started showing poodles, Nici and India registered an affix with the Kennel club. It seemed an appropriate tribute to combine part of Nici's first poodle Zak's name with that of India thus creating the word 'INDIZAK'.

The Indizak brood has since moved away from poodles but the family ethos has just kept growing. Nici now has Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshunds. India has Standard Smooth Haired Dachshunds and has recently expanded into Basset Hounds.

The Indizak name has also now been been joined by Kate (Nici's sister) who shows Scottish Terriers and German Spitz. Annie (Nici's Mum) who shows West Highland White Terriers and Shelly(Nici's Niece) who is just starting out with Miniature Smooth Haired Chocolate Dachshunds.
